Size Converter resizes files entirely inside your web browser. Images are decoded and redrawn with the HTML5 Canvas API; videos are played by a hidden player, redrawn frame by frame and re-recorded with the MediaRecorder API. No image, video, filename or pixel data is ever transmitted to our servers or to any third party. There is no upload endpoint. Closing or reloading the page clears the files from memory.
We use localStorage to remember your size, fit and format settings, your saved size presets, the theme, and, if you purchase Size Converter Pro, your license status and key. This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
If enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the tool is used (page views, which buttons are clicked, approximate region). Analytics never receives your files or filenames. Google may set cookies or use similar technologies for this purpose. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking analytics scripts.
Size Converter may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to keep the tool free. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info. Visitors in the EEA and UK will be asked for consent where required.
Size Converter Pro purchases are handled by a third-party payment processor (such as Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad or Stripe). We do not see or store your card details. When you enter a license key, the key and a device label are sent to the processor's license API to confirm it is valid; no file data is included. The processor's own privacy policy applies to the checkout and license check.
The "Download ZIP" feature (Pro) loads the open-source JSZip library from the jsDelivr CDN only when you use it. The CDN may log standard request data (IP address, user agent). No file data is sent to the CDN. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
Size Converter is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
